Billboards, bar scenes, paveway characters, and busking street musicians all combined to compare the American western lifestyle of the 1880's to that of the 1980's.
From historic San Francisco to the kitchiness of Las Vegas and the deserts beyond, there are snap-shots of life at railroad towns and obscure truck-stop outposts.
Also highway scenes, greyhound buses, and cowboys, show that the 'Buffalo Bill' tradition of USA is alive and well especially in the Colorado Rockies where a lot of this film was shot.
